The Montauk Point Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse in New York State, but more than twenty others on Long Island alone join us to aid navigation and keep our waterways safe.

To help support our sister lighthouses, the Montauk Point Lighthouse participates in the United States Lighthouse Society Passport Program. Through this, you can buy a Lighthouse Passport and collect stamps from all participating lighthouses in the United States and internationally. Funds from this program aid in preservation of our historic lighthouses.

We sell Lighthouse Passports in our Gift Shop, and will stamp yours when you visit. To get a stamp by mail, please send your request, together with any size donation, and a stamped, self-addressed envelope, to:
