Third Annual Pelican Commemoration

For our third commemoration of the F/V Pelican tragedy, which took place on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend in 1951, we hope you will be with us as we board a boat from the Viking Fleet for a trip to the former location of Fishangri-La, from where the Pelican set off on its last journey.  We will then sail to the lighthouse to drop a wreath and say a few words near the spot where the Pelican capsized in an accident that we still mourn today.  This event is free. Please reserve a spot below, and PLEASE NOTE REVISED START TIME. The Viking Fleet has asked that we arrive at the dock at 3:30 to ensure a 4 PM departure.
