THIS EXHIBITION HAS CLOSED.

The Montauk Historical Society was honored to invite the public back to the Second House Museum for the first time since 2013 to experience a remarkable photographic exhibition. DITCH: MONTAUK, NY 11954 is a series of panoramic portraits that were photographed over several years on the beach at Ditch Plain by photographer and writer Nat Ward. These photos were beautifully set in the public rooms of Second House, Montauk’s oldest dwelling, after the building’s 12-year restoration by the Town of East Hampton.

The book remains available in our Second House gift shop and will also be found in local book stores and on the usual online platforms.

The exhibition will run through the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. Tickets will be available at the door and tour tickets can be purchased online on our events page.
