MUSIC FOR MONTAUK: Summer Series Finale

Music for Montauk’s Summer Series culminates in a grand finale at the Montauk Point Lighthouse with Sounds of the Sea for Chamber Orchestra. In keeping with Music for Montauk’s fresh and dynamic approach to classical music, the programming fits the spectacular outdoor setting. An ensemble of string and brass players including first violinist Joanna Maurer and principal trombone Demian Austin from the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, along with cellist Caleb van der Swaagh and others performing brilliant and vivid orchestral & chamber works by composers such as Bernstein, Poulenc, and more. Family Friendly, BYO & picnic.
