The Montauk Historical Society, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, would like to invite you to bid on a one-year contract for a heating-oil delivery and service to the Carl Fisher House at 44 Foxboro Road, Montauk, for 2023.
There are two fuel tanks: one underground tank that holds 1000 gallons and one above-ground tank holding 350 gallons.
We are interested in regular deliveries (monthly or more frequently if necessary in the winter months) from bidders who maintain service facilities with trained personnel qualified to service the product furnished within 48 hours. This refers specifically to the ability to do product testing, tank inspection, and topping off tanks for testing, etc., for delivered product. We require that you have the ability to provide immediate delivery (within 2 hours) in cases of emergency.
We will need your bid to acknowledge that you can provide the above services, along with a proposed price expressed as the daily fuel cost published in the Journal of Commerce, plus x¢ per gallon.

The bids will close at 10:00 AM sharp February 15, 2023. No bids will be accepted after 10:00AM sharp.
Bids will be opened at Fisher House, 44 Foxboro Road, Montauk, NY 11954 at 10:05 AM.
The successful bidder will be announced 10:00 AM Monday February 20. Service will begin in March 2023 and continue until the end of February 2024, when it may be extended by mutual agreement.
